You can help CCAP in a number of ways through food drives and collections, tax deducible donations, or volunteering with one of our many opportunities

The simplest and easiest way to donate food to CCAP/Loaves and Fishes is to participate in a food drive. A number of groups and agencies in Berkeley County organize food drives for CCAP/Loaves and Fishes each year, often going door-to-door leaving flyers that give the schedule and details of their drive.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, charitable tax-exempt corporation, so donations to CCAP/Loaves and Fishes are tax deductible for individuals and organizations. We also participate in the West Virginia Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP), so individuals or organizations may earn tax credits.

There are many volunteer positions to choose from, including unloading the tractor trailer that arrives each month from Feed America food, stocking our shelves in the food pantry, putting together the boxes of food we distributed, and being a caseworker who sits down with clients to assess their their situation and how we may be able to help.
